Capstone Clinical Faculty (Part-time): St. Louis, MO

Location: Onsite in an inpatient clinical setting in the St. Louis, Missouri area, USA. The schedule most commonly consists of 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the course credit hours.

What you will do

• Mentor BSN students during inpatient clinical experiences and connect classroom and simulation learning with patient care.
• Plan clinical assignments and provide direct supervision while students deliver nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical-agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Grade assignments, quizzes, tests, lab work, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Communicate student and clinical-agency issues to the course coordinator, dean, or assistant dean.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Missouri.
• Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for faculty currently licensed in Illinois.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
