Collaborative Health Clinical Faculty (Part-time): St. Louis, MO

Location: St. Louis, MO, USA. Teaching is onsite in an inpatient clinical setting in the St. Louis area.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Mentor senior nursing students during inpatient clinical rotations and connect classroom and simulation learning with real-world patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate students providing nursing care.
• Provide documented performance feedback and remediation when needed.
• Prepare clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade coursework, assessments, laboratory assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Coordinate with clinical personnel and course leadership regarding policies, student progress, and agency issues.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered Missouri professional nursing license required.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in the area of instruction within the last five years.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Teaching or precepting experience.
