Mental Health Clinical Faculty (Part-Time): Tulsa, OK

Location: Onsite clinical teaching in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. The schedule most commonly consists of 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $560–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the course credit hours.

What you will do

• Teach mental-health nursing clinical content in partner healthcare settings.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise students providing nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Provide remediation and support students who require additional guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical-agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Grade assignments and communicate student or agency concerns to the course coordinator and academic leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Oklahoma.
• At least two years of recent registered-nurse experience within the past five years in the area of instruction.
• Strong mental-health nursing subject expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
• The posting also states that an Illinois nursing license will be required before accepting a clinical contract for a given session.
