Heavy Equipment PM Tech (Diesel and Gasoline Vehicles)

Location: Ennis, TX, USA; local work with home every night

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on diesel, gasoline, and electrical trucks and heavy equipment, including compactors, excavators, and wheel loaders.
• Inspect equipment condition, operation, fluid levels, tires, and safety equipment; identify and designate problems.
• Check, fill, and change fluids, filters, lubricants, and cooling-system components.
• Power wash equipment and drive trucks or equipment in and out of the repair area.
• Complete work orders, parts-usage records, time documentation, and daily consumables reports for the fleet management system.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of technician experience applying OSHA HazCom, Lockout/Tagout, and Fire Protection regulations.
• Mechanical trade school certificate or degree.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and word-processing applications.
• Ability to complete the Republic PM Program, One Fleet Republic Way program, and other applicable training during employment.
• Ability to work locally in Ennis, Texas, full time, including up to 55 hours per week in all weather conditions.
