Health Services Data Analyst Senior

Location: Hybrid role based at offices in Rocky Hill or Wallingford, Connecticut; associates must live in Connecticut and work in the office 1–2 days per week. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance unless an accommodation is granted.

What you will do

• Monitor and evaluate the quality of complex healthcare programs supporting Connecticut HUSKY Health Medicaid behavioral health services.
• Contribute to quality management plans, performance targets, PAR program profiles, and contractual reporting obligations.
• Analyze claims, provider, utilization, and program-outcome data using statistical procedures.
• Build and maintain databases and performance reports, identifying deviations and anomalies.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance provider-facing dashboards for performance monitoring and quality improvement.
• Translate business requirements into diagnostic data and decision-support tools, and communicate findings to stakeholders and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in validating, analyzing, and visualizing data for quality improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Experience with SAS statistical software, data queries, and interactive Tableau dashboards.
• Experience with Medicaid claims data, preferably behavioral health claims.
• Knowledge of Medicaid quality measures, integrated care programs, and behavioral health systems of care in Connecticut.
• Moderate to advanced Excel skills and experience presenting data findings and training dashboard users.
