Seattle Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Consultant (AI)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States. Hybrid work combines in-person work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites with remote work; local or out-of-state travel may be required. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $96,000–$143,000 annual base salary. Target bonus opportunity: 10%; estimated total cash range: $105,600–$157,300.

What you will do

• Assess technology risks and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and technology utilization.
• Support cybersecurity, cloud assurance, project risk advisory, technology risk management, IT general controls, data governance, privacy, and technology resilience engagements.
• Use AI, analytics, automation, and other technology-enabled methods to improve audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Develop project scopes, work plans, staffing plans, deliverables, process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Mentor, train, and coach interns and consultants while supervising engagement work and reviewing deliverables.
• Build client relationships and communicate technology topics, audit issues, findings, and recommendations to client personnel and executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Experience or understanding of IT audit methodologies and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, and ITIL.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and technology controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Visio and Access is useful.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in the Seattle area and travel to local or out-of-state client sites as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar credential.
• Experience with enterprise applications, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, disaster recovery, or emerging technologies.
