Seattle Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid work with in-person time at local offices and client sites. Local or out-of-state travel may be required. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $96,000–$143,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $105,600–$157,300.

What you will do

• Assess technology risks and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and technology use.
• Execute technology audit and advisory engagements across cybersecurity, cloud assurance, IT general controls, data governance, privacy, enterprise applications, resilience, and emerging technologies.
• Develop project scopes, work plans, staffing plans, audit deliverables, findings, recommendations, and control summaries.
• Apply analytics, AI, automation, and other technology enablement tools to audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Build trusted relationships with client personnel and communicate technology risks and audit issues to executives.
• Mentor, train, supervise, and review the work of interns and consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Knowledge of IT audit methodologies and control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, and ITIL.
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley technology requirements and compliance methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio and Access are secondary applications.
• Availability for a hybrid schedule in Seattle and travel to offices or client sites as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar credential.
• Experience with technology areas including cloud, AI and machine learning, data governance, privacy, analytics, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and disaster recovery.
