Material Manager (Aerospace Defense)

What you will do

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies, material program plans, and program objectives.
• Coordinate material schedules with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain.
• Lead supplier and subcontract management, including performance metrics, risk mitigation, strategic agreements, and customer flow-down requirements.
• Support supply chain proposal activities, including task descriptions and basis-of-estimate development.
• Monitor cost, schedule, quality, EVMS, budgets, working capital, forecasts, EACs, and operating plans.
• Help develop standard supply chain processes, tools, reports, and methods to improve product execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a related graduate degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience with supply chain systems, procurement, production control and material planning, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and/or finance.
• Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management.
• Experience translating customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements and reviewing statements of work.
• Supply Chain experience in the aerospace defense industry and knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition laws and regulations.
