Sr Lead Cyber Security Engineering (Cloud Security)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Full-time on-site role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $114,500–$194,700 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead the workforce security solutions team developing authentication and access management solutions.
• Design identity solutions and access patterns using Zero Trust, least privilege, and defense-in-depth principles.
• Review identity and access management solutions and advise stakeholders, partners, and IT management.
• Secure Java microservices, React frontends, and Android/iOS applications across Azure and cloud environments.
• Support complex identity operations and troubleshooting using Sentinel, KQL, audit logs, and related security tooling.
• Apply threat modeling, application security, OWASP standards, cloud security, container security, and AI concepts to identity and access management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 10 years of information security experience, including 5 years as a technical lead.
• Deep knowledge of application or infrastructure architecture across multiple system technologies.
• Strong expertise in Entra ID, EPM, Sentinel, Azure, AWS Security, identity governance, and access management.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA, conditional access, Kerberos, LDAP, identity federation, JWT, TLS/SSL, and API security.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CSSP, or cloud security certification.
• Azure or AWS security certifications.
