What you will do

• Lead and grow a distributed Cloud Security engineering team, defining clear priorities and impact.
• Define and deliver a technical roadmap to reduce cloud security risk across the organization.
• Drive initiatives in secure infrastructure configuration, IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Guide the design of scalable, reliable, and observable security systems integrated into engineering workflows.
• Coach and develop engineers, supporting career growth and fostering a culture of ownership.
• Partner with infrastructure, compliance, and product teams to ensure security investments are measurable and auditable.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security analysis, research, or engineering (years vary by degree level).
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 5+ years experience securing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CSPM, IaC security, Kubernetes security, or secrets management.
• Experience operating in large-scale SaaS, developer platforms, or high-compliance environments.
• Proficiency with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) and threat modeling.
