Business Analyst (Co-op), DA&AI

What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for data and analytics teams.
• Analyze workflows to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and stronger data integration.
• Develop Agile user stories and acceptance criteria for upcoming development cycles.
• Support source-to-target mapping and collaborate with development teams during solution design.
• Assist with Power BI dashboards and conduct user acceptance testing to validate delivered solutions.
• Run AI agents and provide feedback to help train and refine model outputs.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of data concepts and SQL.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to simplify complex information.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience or coursework with Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, or agentic AI tools.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology, Azure DevOps, business process modeling, or requirements gathering.
