Assembly Technician (Electronics/Optics)

What you will do

• Assemble, calibrate, and test electronic and optical assemblies.
• Use adhesives to bond and seal products.
• Collaborate with Engineering R&D to develop new assembly processes and techniques.
• Assist with process and procedure development and documentation.
• Manage inventory and electrical components, and perform basic maintenance of assembly equipment.
• Pack semi-finished goods and support quality inspections.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in electronic and electrical assembly.
• Experience assembling high-value products in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Visual and mechanical dexterity for inspection, handling, cleaning, and soldering.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, processing software, and laboratory equipment.
• Electronic, optical, or similar qualification, with strong WHS knowledge, attention to detail, communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.
