Packaging Technician

What you will do

• Assemble PCBs and complete packaging for quantum devices.
• Support automated testing at room temperature and cryogenic temperatures.
• Test packaged devices to verify processing, integration, and yield.
• Own a dedicated section of the packaging pipeline, including maintenance, support tasks, and assembly requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug quantum processors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electronics assembly, including PCB manufacturing, soldering, wire bonding to integrated circuits, or flip-chip assemblies.
• 3+ years of experience using bench-top electronic test equipment such as SMUs, VNAs, or oscilloscopes.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across an interdisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced packaging technology or 3D integration.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout EDA software.
• Experience with cryogenic systems or high-vacuum environments.
