AIT Technician – Vehicle Integration (Aerospace)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; onsite weekend shift, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–7:00 PM

What you will do

• Assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules using detailed procedures, hand tools, torque wrenches, and light power tools.
• Perform hands-on spacecraft vehicle integration and support related manufacturing activities.
• Carry out basic avionics and electrical troubleshooting, including wire harness routing.
• Communicate work status, issues, and recommendations to the support engineering team.
• Update documentation and hardware statuses through online systems.
• Perform kitting, inventory, lab organization, and other duties while maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of hands-on technician experience in electromechanical assembly or spacecraft hardware manufacturing.
• Experience with wire harness routing and/or spaceflight integration.
• Ability to read and follow assembly and testing instructions, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
• Knowledge of soldering tools and practices; J-STD-001 certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be a U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. government export authorizations; a current or obtainable U.S. national security clearance may be required.
