What you will do

• Lead business consulting services for independent business owners across startup, growth, optimization, and succession stages.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex entity structures, partnerships, equity ownership, compensation, and retention strategies.
• Advise on business formation, expense-sharing models, advisor incentives, P&L design, benchmarking, and succession planning.
• Manage high-impact consulting engagements and develop scalable frameworks, tools, and solutions.
• Partner with Business Development, Transitions, and divisional leadership on advisor recruiting, affiliation, onboarding, and retention.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of business consultants while managing relationships with professional partners and vendors.

Requirements

• More than 15 years of general work experience and more than 15 years of manager experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
• Advanced knowledge of business structuring, entity formation, partnership design, tax considerations, financial reporting, and compensation models.
• Experience leading complex client engagements, solving ambiguous problems, influencing senior stakeholders, and communicating financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to coach and develop teams, manage multiple concurrent engagements, and present at conferences and home-office visits.
• Travel expected to be less than 25%.

Nice to have

• CPA certification preferred.
• Series 7 license preferred.
