Visa Consulting & Analytics Director – Portfolio Optimization & Solutions (Payments)

Location: US - Miami, FL; office-based position. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $163,500–$261,500 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for card portfolio optimization across the Latin America and Caribbean region.
• Define portfolio optimization standards, methodologies, business rules, recommendation frameworks, delivery guidelines, and reusable assets.
• Shape data-, analytics-, and AI-enabled solutions by assessing business requirements, use cases, outputs, and implementation considerations.
• Build scalable frameworks, playbooks, templates, and training materials, while sharing best practices across regional and market teams.
• Govern strategic initiatives by managing priorities, tracking progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and preparing executive-ready status materials.
• Drive change management, stakeholder communications, training, agile facilitation, and adoption while leading and developing direct reports and remaining hands-on in execution.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in payments, financial services, consulting, card portfolio management, analytics, strategy, business transformation, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, payment schemes, card portfolio management, performance indicators, and data-driven recommendations.
• Experience leading card portfolio optimization, project management, operational efficiency, and change management initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, manage priorities and performance, and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a quantitative, analytical, or business-related field is preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
• Fluency in English and professional proficiency in either Spanish or Portuguese are required. Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization and business intelligence tools is required.
