Construction VDC Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $130,962.60–$149,671.54 per year

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary BIM/VDC coordination across architecture, civil, structural, MEP, specialty systems, contractors, trade partners, consultants, and owner stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination meetings, clash reviews, model audits, and issue-resolution workflows focused on constructability, quality, schedule alignment, and field installation sequencing.
• Review MEP, structural, and specialty trade models for spatial conflicts, access and maintenance clearances, installation feasibility, project requirements, and handover readiness.
• Establish accountability frameworks with action items, owners, due dates, escalation paths, and issue tracking through closure.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, VDC workflows, model coordination procedures, digital delivery standards, and project-specific protocols.
• Provide Autodesk platform support and develop templates, scripts, automation tools, model health workflows, digital libraries, and best-practice resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of AEC experience focused on BIM, VDC, digital delivery, model coordination, construction technology, or project delivery technology.
• Practical understanding of MEP and structural coordination in complex building, infrastructure, industrial, or equipment-intensive environments.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro, and related Autodesk tools.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary coordination workflows and managing stakeholders, action items, issue closure, and project accountability.
• Strong communication, organization, project management, problem-solving, mentoring, and technical risk translation skills.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in BIM management, VDC, construction management, project management, or related technologies.
• Experience with data centers, healthcare, laboratories, industrial facilities, central utility plants, infrastructure, transit, aviation, rail, or water and wastewater projects.
• Experience with owner-side BIM/VDC requirements, COBie, asset data, digital handover, facilities management integration, or digital twin workflows.
• Experience with 4D scheduling, 5D quantity and cost workflows, construction sequencing, logistics planning, Dynamo, Python, Power BI, Autodesk Platform Services, or ISO 19650.
