Senior Domain Engineering Specialist- VDP & Cloud (Cloud)

Location: Remote within the United States

Compensation: $121,400–$225,300 for Zone 4; $139,500–$259,000 for Zone 3; $153,500–$285,000 for Zone 2; $167,400–$310,900 for Zone 1. Total target compensation includes base pay and performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Advise strategic customers on data resilience, security, hirify.global Data Platform, and public cloud platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, resilience assessments, operational readiness reviews, and solution validation engagements.
• Assess architectures and recommend data protection, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, cyber vaulting, and secure recovery strategies.
• Guide protection and recovery of virtual, physical, public cloud, SaaS, and hybrid workloads.
• Deliver technical workshops, executive briefings, and strategic advisory sessions.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product Management, and Support to resolve complex technical challenges and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, cloud engineering, customer success, infrastructure engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience with hirify.global Data Cloud Platform, including hirify.global Backup & Replication, hirify.global ONE, and hirify.global Recovery Orchestrator.
• Strong expertise in public cloud platforms, cyber resilience, data protection, enterprise infrastructure, hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, identity and access considerations, security practices, and modern infrastructure design.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience, with strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• VMCE+ and/or VMCSE certifications.
• VMware, Microsoft, Nutanix, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, security, or networking certifications.
