AVS Digital Architect (Medical Devices)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas or Lake Forest, California; remote work as needed. Travel up to 25%, with occasional after-hours or weekend scheduling.

Salary: $116,450–$150,700 annually.

What you will do

• Drive connectivity for hirify.global Vision Suite, legacy medical devices, SaaS, and software as a medical device products.
• Lead customer and EHR vendor integrations involving TCP/IP, DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and related networking.
• Manage integration project plans, stakeholders, installation timelines, regional processes, documentation, and handoffs.
• Define customer integration data-flow maps and respond to monitoring alerts for offline devices.
• Troubleshoot interoperability, network, and medical equipment connectivity issues while supporting user acceptance testing.
• Create technical presentations, lead occasional networking and medical interoperability classes, and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly related experience; alternative experience combinations are accepted.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English communication is required for domestic and international meetings.
• Experience troubleshooting networks and general IT issues, configuring network hardware, and managing customer service and contractual commitments.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, troubleshooting, customer service, and project management skills.
• Ability to lift network equipment weighing up to 15 kg occasionally.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or medical industry experience, including DICOM, HL7, FHIR, BAA, HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, and privacy or security standards.
• Cisco, medical field, or PMP certifications.
• Experience with integration solutions, web services, XML/JSON schemas, relational databases, servers, VMware, firewalls, or help desks.
• Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, or French.
