PO Management Specialist (Procurement)

Location: Suzhou, China; hybrid workplace. Relocation is not available. Applicants must already have authorization to work in China; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Generate, manage, update, expedite, and close purchase orders based on MRP requirements and approved requisitions.
• Review MRP exceptions and coordinate with planning, production, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve shortages, delays, and excess inventory.
• Validate invoices against purchase orders and receipts, resolve discrepancies, and support timely supplier payments.
• Support MRB reviews, supplier claims, credits, replacements, and corrective actions for nonconforming materials.
• Optimize inventory by reducing excess and slow-moving items, adjusting safety stock, and managing disposition actions.
• Maintain supplier compliance documentation, purchase price variance and MOQ analysis, and accurate ERP item master data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Syteline, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Understanding of inventory management and forecasting principles, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Current authorization to work in China is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience.
• CPIM, CPSM, CPP, or equivalent professional certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
