Quality Control Inspector - Civil (Roads & Infrastructure)

Location: Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Review material submittals, Inspection and Test Plans, and method statements for civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
• Provide documentation feedback to the Works Agency QA/QC Manager.
• Conduct inspections throughout construction to verify materials, equipment, and workmanship against approved plans and project standards.
• Inspect soil, aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and other materials used in roads, drainage systems, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor earthworks, asphalt paving, concrete works, drainage pipes, culverts, manholes, retaining walls, bridges, tunnels, dams, and related structures.
• Participate in final inspections before project handover.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience in road and infrastructure construction.
• Relevant construction quality-control certifications, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP, BGAS, ASNT, IEC, NEC, or applicable local standards.
• Proficiency in material-testing standards, including BS, ASTM, and AASHTO.
• Ability to work onsite in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
