Inspector, Quality Control (Emirati Talent)

What you will do

• Conduct quality control inspections of heavy vehicles, components, assemblies, spares, and repairable items.
• Verify maintenance and repair work against job plans, confirm reported faults are corrected, and assess item serviceability.
• Inspect, identify, track, and control repairable, obsolete, nonconforming, and non-OEM spares.
• Prepare inspection findings, Material Deficiency Reports, quality reports, and quality and defect data analyses.
• Liaise with mechanics, supervisors, managers, and customers to resolve quality issues and support customer condemnation approvals.
• Provide quality input to Corrective Maintenance job plans and Annual Service Plans, and support root cause analysis of rejects and warranty concerns.

Requirements

• Technical degree or diploma relevant to the quality control inspector role.
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy vehicles, components, assemblies, spares, failure analysis, engineering, or welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and owner’s manuals, use measuring equipment, and verify finished products.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; CMMS and SAP production or quality module experience is advantageous.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Valid UAE Driver’s License required; a vehicle or forklift driving license, or ability to obtain one, is preferred.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification.
• Previous quality control inspector experience and at least one year in a senior relevant technical role.
• Tool and Die or related certification.
• Knowledge of FMEA and validation or verification methods.
