Mechanical QC Inspector (Material Inspector)

What you will do

• Support mechanical quality control procedures and review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and inspection requirements.
• Inspect received mechanical materials and equipment for compliance with approved documentation and project specifications.
• Perform fit-up inspections and final dimensional checks before installation and welding.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
• Witness third-party testing, inspection, and NDT activities and support client inspections.
• Identify defects and non-conformances, raise punch lists, and follow corrective actions through closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on inspection experience with piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, valves, and associated mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of inspection reporting, quality documentation, non-conformance escalation, and punch list management.
• Organized, analytical, results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
