TL;DR
Press Operator (Manufacturing): Setting up and operating progressive die presses, automated machinery, welding equipment, and other manufacturing tooling to produce quality parts to blueprint specifications with an accent on equipment setup, material forming, and in-process measurement. Focus on troubleshooting machinery, adjusting dies and feeds, verifying dimensional accuracy, and maintaining safe production operations.
Location: Solon, Ohio, United States. Full-time, onsite role. Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
Salary: Up to $38.00 per hour. Hiring bonus: $5,000.

What you will do
- Set up and operate progressive die presses, heavy-duty power equipment, automated machinery, saws, assembly tables, and specialized welding and brazing equipment.
- Bend, form, stretch, and straighten plates, extrusions, structural shapes, and other materials according to blueprints, layouts, templates, and route instructions.
- Assist with die and equipment setup, including adjusting machine stroke and material feed.
- Inspect materials and use micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measures, calculators, and fixed gauges to verify specifications.
- Move materials with pallet jacks, lift trucks, or cranes when qualified, and install and check required safety devices.
- Report equipment faults, defective materials, and unusual conditions while maintaining a safe, orderly work area.
Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Safety- and quality-conscious approach to work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; lift truck operating experience is recommended.
