Location: Timonium, Maryland, United States; onsite, full-time, 1st shift

Salary: $19.01–$27.18 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single- or multi-color offset presses.
• Complete make-ready tasks, including hanging plates, installing cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Inspect plates and cylinders for imperfections and verify image positioning.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet production quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment, including manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance.
• Perform minor repairs and replace worn or broken parts as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine the materials needed for press setup.
• Knowledge of press capabilities, printing pressure, packing pressure, and corrective adjustments.
• Ability to use a micrometer to mount and align printing plates.
• Experience with routine equipment maintenance, minor repairs, feeder and feed board adjustments, suctions, blast, guides, and head-stop timing.
• Relevant military backgrounds include Navy Lithographer, Marine Combat Lithographer, and Army Printing and Bindery Specialist.
