TL;DR
Lead Product Engineer (Centrifugal Compressors): Developing data-driven tools, predictive models, and software interfaces for centrifugal compressor design optimization, performance improvement, and reliability enhancement with an accent on test data analysis, compressor thermodynamics, and turbomachinery validation. Focus on building automated data pipelines, analyzing vibration and thermal trends, supporting digital twins and diagnostics, and conducting root cause analysis for new product development.
Location: Suzhou, China; full-time on-site position

What you will do
- Collect laboratory performance testing data and field operating data from centrifugal compressors.
- Build automated data-processing pipelines, databases, customized software, and application interfaces.
- Apply statistical methods to identify deviations and trends, analyze thermodynamic performance, and develop predictive compressor performance models.
- Support aerodynamic and structural design validation through data analysis and customer validation testing.
- Analyze vibration, temperature, bearing, and sealing-system trends.
- Support digital twin and smart monitoring platforms, root cause analysis, and FMEA activities.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Machinery, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- More than 7 years of experience with a masterβs degree, or 4 years with a PhD, in centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
- Strong understanding of centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery and familiarity with compressor performance maps.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop customized software and application interfaces, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills in English are required.
