Product Engineer-Purification

Location: Changzhi, Shanxi, China; onsite

What you will do

• Provide technical support for Purification pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Manage daily operation of the assigned Shell Purification train in accordance with operating procedures and checklists.
• Identify and resolve safety, operational, abnormal-condition, and equipment issues in coordination with maintenance and other functional teams.
• Develop and implement projects that improve operational efficiency and reliability, including updates to Purification operating manuals.
• Coordinate with process control and maintenance engineers to maintain safe, stable operation and meet production supply requirements.
• Participate in process safety reviews and OPHR activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical process or chemical engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Shell Purification commissioning, startup, operation, maintenance, and production management.
• Experience in engineering or construction is preferred; current Shell Purification Production Process Engineer experience is prioritized.
• Good working knowledge of office software.
• Mid-level oral and written English is helpful.
