Lead Process Tech

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Lead shift operations and coordinate safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the TN and bulk gas station.
• Manage process control, production coordination, abnormal situation handling, and shift execution.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process upsets, incidents, quality alerts, and operational issues.
• Ensure execution of work permits, MOC-related controls, critical operations, and EH&S procedures.
• Support plant reliability, equipment maintenance coordination, shutdown scheduling, and continuous improvement projects.
• Guide Process Technicians, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and maintain communication with customers and other shifts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of ASU production plant or similar plant operating experience.
• Knowledge of ASU operations, process safety, plant interlock systems, and abnormal operation handling.
• Background in chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical engineering.
• Junior college or college degree.
• Proven ability to take ownership during shifts, guide junior technicians, and communicate effectively.
• Good written and spoken English required.
