What you will do
- Support current machining operations and troubleshoot recurring operational issues.
- Investigate and analyze data for assigned engineering tasks.
- Establish routings, methods, layouts, tooling, costs, documentation, quality plans, and labor standards for current and new parts or programs.
- Implement cost reduction, quality, safety, ergonomic, and material-flow improvements.
- Develop limited-scope plans supporting lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System.
- Implement new manufacturing processes and technology while participating in capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency studies.
Requirements
- Must work in Moline, Illinois, United States.
- Full-time availability is required.
- Experience or capability in machining engineering and current-operation support.
- Ability to work with electronic engineering tools and analyze operational data.
- Ability to develop manufacturing methods, layouts, quality plans, and labor standards.
