Industrial Electronic Electrician - Facilities

Location: San Diego, California; onsite, full-time

Salary: $37.50–$55.80 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems, controls, and components on manufacturing machine tools and production equipment.
• Read and apply schematics, blueprints, manuals, electrical codes, manufacturer recommendations, and equipment specifications.
• Design or modify control circuitry and repair printed circuit cards when needed.
• Program computer controls for production equipment and machine tools, excluding numerical control tool-path programming.
• Perform industrial maintenance electrical work, including infrastructure installations, lighting repairs, motor repairs, and conduit installation.
• Coordinate with manufacturer technical or engineering support and follow all applicable safety procedures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with electrical and electronic troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
• Knowledge of motor controls, ladder logic, and PLCs.
• Ability to run conduit of all sizes and perform work at heights.
• Ability to operate forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Basic computer skills and a high school diploma.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring employer-tied sponsorship are not currently eligible.

Nice to have

• Recognized apprenticeship or technical college/trade school training.
• Military electrical or electronic training.
• Machine tool repair or calibration experience.
