Industrial Electrician (Cincinnati)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; onsite field work with extensive nationwide travel required

hirify.global provides custom-engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂, with engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and service performed in-house.

What you will do

• Install conduit, wiring, disconnects, switches, panels, transformers, and electrical terminations.
• Install and test medium- and high-voltage automation and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical layouts, functionality issues, PLC sensors, and control wiring during installations.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and electrical testing equipment.
• Support general construction activities, including insulation, welding, and painting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Proficiency in rigid conduit bending and installation up to 4 inches.
• Knowledge of three-phase motor systems, 480V AC motor control circuits, and the National Electrical Code.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide.
• Ability to operate industrial lifts and equipment and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and regular drug testing, background and driving-record checks, with no DUI in the past five years; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills.
• Journeyman license.
