Industrial Electrician (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Nationwide across the United States; extensive travel required

hirify.global provides engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support.

What you will do

• Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, disconnects, switches, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Install and test medium- and high-voltage automation and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical layouts, functionality issues, PLC sensors, and control wiring during field installations.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, electrical testing equipment, and other industrial tools.
• Support general construction activities, including insulation, welding, and painting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Proficiency in rigid conduit bending and installation up to 4 inches.
• Knowledge of three-phase motor systems, 480V AC motor control circuits, and the National Electrical Code.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied weather and industrial conditions while using appropriate PPE.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and regular drug testing, background and driving-record checks; no DUI within the past 5 years.

Nice to have

• Journeyman license.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills.
