Industrial Electrician II (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States. 3rd shift: 10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Salary: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, dependent on experience, plus a 20% shift differential, discretionary bonus, and stock options.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain electrical components on high-speed production equipment, including motors, starters, VFDs, relays, and sensors.
• Support PLC and HMI troubleshooting by monitoring I/O status, reading ladder logic, and tracing control-circuit faults.
• Install and test temperature sensors, heat controllers, actuators, modulating valves, and 4–20 mA/0–10 V control components.
• Read electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals to diagnose wiring and component issues.
• Diagnose basic mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues involving conveyors, drives, cylinders, valves, pumps, and kilns.
• Document work orders, parts, and equipment history in the CMMS while following OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and Arc Flash requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or continuous production.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens, with the ability to troubleshoot I/O signals.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, control panels, industrial sensors, heat-control loops, thermocouples, SCRs, and electrical actuators.
• Ability to use digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and hand tools to isolate electrical faults.
• High school diploma/GED plus technical certification, electrical apprenticeship coursework, or equivalent experience.
• Must work onsite in Spokane and provide basic personal hand tools; a valid driver’s license is required.
