Salary: $130,962.60–$149,671.54 per year

hirify.global is hiring for its PM/CM group in Connecticut.

What you will do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of K-12 construction projects, including new schools, renovations, expansions, and facility improvements.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, invoices, and financial reports.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, school districts, authorities, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, environmental standards, permits, and on-site safety requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve construction issues, and document changes to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor quality, conduct site visits and inspections, and oversee documentation, punch lists, and handover to the school district.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in K-12 or institutional facilities.
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Experience with school construction grant funding applications and procedures.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, site development, building codes, safety regulations, risk management, and environmental sustainability.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED AP, or similar certification.
