Construction company delivering and managing building projects from preconstruction through completion and warranty follow-up.

What you will do

• Manage construction projects through budgeting, procurement, scheduling, execution, close-out, and warranty follow-up.
• Estimate project costs and establish budgets and contract prices, including GMP and lump-sum contracts.
• Negotiate subcontractor and material purchases, prepare bid packages, and coordinate buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
• Coordinate owners, architects, subcontractors, superintendents, estimators, and project teams while maintaining project documentation and reporting.
• Develop safety plans, implement safety procedures, and maintain quality control and contract compliance.
• Lead and train project team members, support business development and interviews, and mitigate claims and conflicts.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.
• Ability to work in Sacramento, California, United States.
