Continuous Improvement Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: San Diego, CA, United States; onsite full-time role

Base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead productivity services, cost reduction programs, process improvements, and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives for the manufacturing facility.
• Implement and advance the hirify.global Management System (KHMS), including coordinating the Site Steering Committee, Task Force, and TRACC progression.
• Develop productivity decks, KPI visuals, tracking systems, waste analysis, and performance management tools.
• Coordinate supply chain initiatives across purchasing, distribution, manufacturing, research and development, packaging, and engineering.
• Lead plant-wide 5S activities, support QRMP audits and corrective actions, and help implement operational standards.
• Manage, evaluate, coach, and develop Continuous Improvement staff while overseeing the department operating budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading continuous improvement or transformation projects.
• Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification preferred.
• Experience overcoming project obstacles while meeting timelines and cost-reduction objectives.
• Strong communication, presentation, mentoring, coaching, and multitasking skills; English and Spanish communication skills are preferred.
