Manager, Operational Excellence (Manufacturing)

Location: USA - PA - Denver; on-site full-time position

Salary: $110,200–$151,600 annually

What you will do

• Lead and coach Operational Excellence teams, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement workstreams across the plant.
• Diagnose operating systems, management infrastructure, behaviors, capabilities, and Industry 4.0 opportunities through data analysis, floor observations, process monitoring, and employee interviews.
• Develop and oversee tactical implementation plans, stakeholder check-ins, progress tracking, and sustainability measures.
• Build Operational Excellence capabilities through training for site leadership, frontline leaders, and frontline employees.
• Identify loss opportunities, track improvement performance, manage savings initiatives, and implement long-term countermeasures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics to influence plant direction and drive change.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience with Operational Excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma fundamentals.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• Ability to analyze complex data, influence stakeholders without direct authority, lead cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with TPM, Visual Factory, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Asset Care, and Reliability.
• Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with organizational learning, development programs, or High-Performance Work Systems.
