Continuous Improvement Lean Practitioner

Location: Bakersfield, CA, USA; based at the Shafter, CA office

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 yearly, with a possible discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Train, coach, and challenge process owners on Lean tools, techniques, and sustainable management systems.
• Facilitate Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, PDCA, problem-solving, and waste-identification activities.
• Manage multiple continuous improvement projects, coordinating internal and external resources to deliver on time and to quality standards.
• Analyze production methods and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate losses.
• Share and implement operational best practices across sites.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, such as Continuous Improvement, Production, or Quality.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency required.
• Understanding of World Class Manufacturing methodology.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and presentation skills, with knowledge of change management and adult learning.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or significant practical experience.
