Engineering Manager (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Millington, MD, US; onsite 5 days per week

Compensation: $105,000–$195,000 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the site Mechanical and Electrical Engineering organization and prioritize resources to meet customer and business demands.
• Manage engineering execution within the Engineered To Order process, balancing rigor, velocity, schedule, and flexibility.
• Provide technical and strategic leadership aligned with long-term product architecture and short-term business objectives.
• Coach and mentor engineering leaders to achieve quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
• Build training and onboarding programs aligned with engineering quality and product standards.
• Coordinate offshore and contract engineering resources while driving standard design practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field preferred, or equivalent experience; relevant disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Architectural Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant technical experience; 10+ years preferred.
• 4+ years of technical team leadership experience.
• Experience with Engineered To Order engineering operations, process improvement, or technical program leadership.
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes for control buildings and engineering documentation practices.
• Strong communication, planning, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and complex-data analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Sheet metal experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
