Location: Frederick, Maryland, United States; full-time onsite work at the Frederick National Laboratory/NCI-Frederick campus.

Salary: $100,400–$172,625 per year

What you will do

• Direct the Pharmacokinetics & Biopharmaceutics Research Laboratory.
• Support drug discovery and development programs through translational and applied research.
• Conduct and guide research in bioanalytical chemistry and drug-level analysis.
• Develop and apply pharmacokinetic modeling and biopharmaceutical study approaches.
• Support translational drug mechanism-of-action studies and NCI clinical trial programs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of pharmacology, ADME, biopharmaceutics, and drug development.
• Experience with a wide range of bioanalytical methods and experimental approaches.
• Advanced scientific qualifications consistent with the Scientist-2 hiring level.
• Experience in oncology drug development is preferred.
