Salary: $137,000–$235,750 base pay annually

What you will do

• Apply pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling to support project team decisions from early discovery through early clinical studies.
• Collaborate with biology, chemistry, and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic project members.
• Help design preclinical and early clinical studies and quantitative model-based analyses.
• Support candidate selection and dosing recommendations.
• Use physiologically based pharmacokinetic, mechanistic PK/PD, and systems pharmacology modeling approaches.
• Guide modeling, simulation, and in vivo and in vitro experimental design strategies.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus 6+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master's degree plus 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles and experience performing PK and/or PK/PD modeling.
• Skills in mathematical modeling and simulation, supported by peer-reviewed publications.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in the United States in a hybrid setup from Spring House, Pennsylvania, or La Jolla, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling, mechanistic PK/PD modeling, or systems pharmacology modeling.
• Peer-reviewed publications demonstrating mathematical modeling and simulation expertise.
