Solutions Architecture Associate Director

Salary: $147,000–$260,700 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Translate business and product requirements into end-to-end solution designs spanning multiple frontend and backend services.
• Design microservice and RESTful/GraphQL API architectures using Domain-Driven Design and distributed-systems patterns.
• Architect event-driven integrations with Azure Service Bus, including message schemas, topic and subscription models, and error handling.
• Set engineering standards across React, .NET, and Python teams, embedding security, scalability, resiliency, and observability.
• Lead architecture and design reviews, maintain ADRs, high-level designs, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering leaders while mentoring senior engineers and conducting design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering or architecture experience, including at least 4 years as a solution architect on complex, multi-service platforms.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and advanced Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and distributed-systems patterns.
• Hands-on experience with React and .NET and/or Python for frontend architecture and backend services.
• Strong Azure experience, including Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, DevSecOps, OpenID Connect/OAuth 2.0, and fine-grained authorization in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting designs to senior technology stakeholders.
