Cloud Infrastructure Associate Director

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, or Philadelphia, with work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required.

Salary: $153,000–$260,000 annually, plus a 16% bonus target; estimated total cash range of $177,480–$301,600.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements and provide guidance on technical solutions for infrastructure, networking, and cloud challenges.
• Design, build, migrate, secure, and remediate enterprise systems and environments.
• Oversee project work plans, manage client portfolios, and coordinate delivery across teams.
• Translate business, compliance, continuity, and disaster recovery requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor team members, support training and development, and provide leadership and performance oversight.
• Build executive relationships, identify new opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to thought leadership.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in professional services, managed services, or hands-on presales roles.
• Recent hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, enterprise networking, cloud platforms, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure administration.
• Experience with scripting for administrative and operational purposes, especially PowerShell, Python, or Linux shell scripting.
• Experience designing and deploying server, network, application, backup, replication, and continuity solutions.
• Experience documenting undocumented systems, creating dependency maps, and developing architecture overviews is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience; excellent written and verbal English required.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure professional certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, enterprise storage, Office 365, Exchange, or Google Workspace.
• Experience with PCI-DSS, CMMC, NIST 800-53, post-merger integrations, application rationalization, or third-party vendor management.
