American Girl Cafe Lead (Restaurant Supervisor PTU/Permanent) (Restaurant)

Location: NYC - New York AG Retail, 75 Rockefeller Plaza, New York; on-site restaurant role with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: USD 21–23 per hour.

What you will do

• Support restaurant leadership with staffing, hiring, coaching, training, purchasing, vendor relations, and inventory management.
• Maintain food and beverage quality, service standards, safety, sanitation, and consistency.
• Help achieve department revenue and expense goals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve dining service issues, and accommodate special requests and dietary needs.
• Coordinate with restaurant and store management on events and programs.
• Troubleshoot restaurant and kitchen equipment, reservation, POS, paging, and operational software systems.

Requirements

• Restaurant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, preferably covering front- and back-of-house operations.
• Ability to perform constant walking and standing and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS and inventory systems, InfoGenesis, Zomato, Eatec, Universal Desktop, and JTech is preferred.
• Current state sanitation certification, ServSafe, and Safe Alcohol Consumption Certification are preferred.
