Produce Lead Full Time (Retail)

What you will do

• Lead daily produce department operations while maintaining product freshness, quality, presentation, and availability.
• Inspect, rotate, cull, label, merchandise, and replenish fresh produce according to company standards, including FIFO procedures.
• Monitor inventory, support audits and reconciliation, and analyze sales, waste, and shrink data to identify process improvements.
• Execute promotional plans, seasonal merchandising directives, and stocking strategies based on product movement and purchasing patterns.
• Maintain department equipment, cases, coolers, and freezers while following sanitation, food handling, and safety requirements.
• Support member service, escalate operational or equipment concerns, and provide coverage across departments as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Ability to analyze data, identify process improvements, and manage inventory and replenishment accurately.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other computer applications.
• Must be at least 18 years old, maintain required training and certifications, and be able to stand, move, and regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
