Human Resources Operations and Data Specialist (HR Operations/HRIS): Managing recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, employee services, and reporting for a high-stakes DOE Hanford nuclear cleanup program with an accent on compliance, confidentiality, and HR data operations. Focus on building HR dashboards for DOE reporting, maintaining accurate metrics, and supporting employee relations in a regulated environment.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States. Work is conducted at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, predominantly onsite, with limited remote support subject to approval.

What you will do

  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, HRIS activities, employee services, and HR reporting.
  • Support finance and administration activities for the Hanford Field Office program.
  • Track HR metrics and employee relations matters.
  • Build HR dashboards for DOE reporting.
  • Handle sensitive personally identifiable information confidentially.
  • Provide adaptable support across changing General Support Services responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of human resources experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with recruiting, HRIS, metrics, and employee relations.
  • Strong confidentiality, organization, customer focus, communication, and judgment.
  • Proficiency with business tools, including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills are expected.
  • Facility Clearance is required for applicable work, and DOE clearance may be required according to the task assignment.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting DOE contractors or the Environmental Management sector.
  • SHRM certification.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
