Quality Engineer II

Location: Blaine, MN, US; onsite, 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

Compensation range: $62,900–$116,900 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Represent the Quality function and serve as a primary liaison with customers.
• Facilitate customer engagement and align stakeholders on quality expectations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers to deliver compliant products.
• Lead and participate in Material Review Board activities, including material disposition and corrective actions.
• Manage internal nonconformance reports, customer complaints, and external quality issues through resolution.
• Lead Six Sigma DMAIC problem-solving and support APQP activities for new product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing or quality processes.
• Experience in process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean, and quality systems.
• Ability to evaluate nonconforming materials, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Availability for the onsite second-shift schedule in Blaine, Minnesota.

Nice to have

• CQE, CMQ, or CQA certification.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.
• Experience with optical, multisensor, and scanning inspection equipment.
• Experience supporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
