What you will do

• Lead customer complaints and RMA investigations from field intake through root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Drive quality improvement, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, process capability, and scrap-reduction initiatives.
• Manage supplier corrective actions, audits, qualification activities, APQP, and PPAP.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, including sampling plans and First Article Inspection requirements.
• Program, operate, and troubleshoot CMM equipment and analyze metrology data.
• Lead quality activities for NPI programs, part and process qualifications, D/PFMEA reviews, and engineering-to-production transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CMM programming and operation required.
• Experience with SPC, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R, APQP, PPAP, D/PFMEA, supplier audits, and supplier quality management.
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and technical documentation and communicate clearly with customers, engineering, and leadership.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 systems; Oracle ERP experience is preferred.
