What you will do

  • Purchase products and manage order fulfillment to support business demand, inventory turns, and supplier delivery performance.
  • Track purchase order backlogs and maintain accurate shipping and delivery information in company systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships, delivery commitments, pricing negotiations, and quotes for the sales team.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, transportation, planning, sales, and customer operations teams to resolve order and delivery issues.
  • Manage non-conforming inventory, product disposition, inventory aging, stock rotation, and liquidations.
  • Support supplier management initiatives and process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of purchasing and order management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, analyze situations, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments, management, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
