Senior Procurement Specialist, Taiwan (AI Hardware)

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan; on-site with full-time office presence five days a week. Frequent domestic and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end procurement for components, AI servers, GPU servers, and related data center hardware, from RFQs and quotation evaluation through ordering, delivery, and invoice reconciliation.
• Define sourcing strategies, identify vendors, develop supplier relationships, and monitor hardware pricing, availability, and supply trends.
• Manage supplier performance, lead times, issue escalation, RMA coordination, and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and shipment issue resolution.
• Support CAPEX planning and procurement forecasting with the Finland-based procurement team and Finance.
• Review procurement contracts and supply agreements covering delivery terms, SLAs, liability, and price escalation, involving Legal when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management within hardware, technology infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Hands-on experience purchasing AI servers, GPU servers, or related data center hardware.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, Incoterms, and freight forwarding.
• Ability to run procurement independently from purchase request through delivery confirmation and invoice reconciliation.
• Experience negotiating hardware supply agreements, volume pricing, and delivery terms, plus the ability to review commercial contracts.
• Professional proficiency in Japanese, Mandarin, and English; on-site presence in Taipei is required.

Nice to have

• Experience procuring GPU servers, AI accelerators, or data center infrastructure hardware.
• Familiarity with server ODMs and the supply dynamics of the AI hardware market.
• Understanding of Asian supply chains and ODM/OEM procurement from Taiwan, Japan, or mainland China.
• Experience in a scaling startup or high-growth environment.
