Director, DEC Digital R&D; Domain Lead

Location: Remote role associated with Philadelphia, PA; US-based candidates are specified for the stated compensation range.

Salary: $188,000–$282,000 annual base pay for US-based candidates, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Translate R&D business priorities into digital product strategies, roadmaps, governance, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee platforms supporting research, nonclinical development, clinical development, regulatory, safety, evidence generation, and medical affairs.
• Lead platform improvements covering integrations, data integrity, security, operational resilience, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure regulated platforms support GxP requirements, validation, audit readiness, issue remediation, and effective controls.
• Lead and develop capability leaders while managing vendors, partners, capacity planning, upgrades, and service quality.
• Enable consistent data and integration standards and support AI and analytics capabilities across R&D products.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience delivering or managing R&D-related systems and products.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
• Experience owning solutions across research, nonclinical development, clinical development, regulatory, evidence generation, medical affairs, reporting, and integration platforms.
• Proven accountability in GxP-regulated environments, including audit management, validation support, and governance.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related science, technology, or information systems field.
